Every day members of IACDL go to court to defend the rights of their clients and to spare them and their families the devastation that often comes from criminal prosecutions. IACDL is committed to not only defending the existing rights of individual clients, but helping change the law on a grander scale. By donating to the IACDL lobbying efforts, you are contributing toward long-term efforts to make important inroads with legislators and other important stakeholders in the criminal justice system. With your help, IACDL is able to advocate for changes in the law at the state level that will improve the system and protect important constitutional rights.
